The mosque provides numerous classes specialising in both secular and Islamic education. Evening and weekend classes are also offered providing students with flexibility and support for subjects such as Tajweed Arabic and Fiqh.

Al-Risalah School is an independent Muslim day school in Tooting, in south west London. It was founded in 1993 under the auspices of Balham Mosque to provide care and education for children In Primary School from the ages of 3 to 11, and Secondary School from the ages of 11 -16.

Both Balham Mosque and Tooting Islamic Centre offer after School madrasa classes for children aged between five to eighteen. At present we have a one year waiting list. The classes take place between five pm to seven pm daily, Monday to Friday.
